Diagnosis. MALE ( Fig. 59 View FIGURES 51 – 61. 51 – 55 ). Black. Mandible with five apical teeth. Clypeus with broadly rounded median lobe, median carina incomplete anteriorly. Antennal scrobe wholly carinate. Frons coriaceous. Vertex slightly convex. Pronotal disc with anterior corner subangulate; anterior carina evenly and little arched forward; lateral margin subcarinate; median carina complete anteriorly, touching posterior series of foveae, followed by depression longitudinally; posterior margin paralleled by series of undefined foveae. Scutellar pit transverse. Mesopleuron with subtegular groove narrowing posterad; anterior fovea subrounded; upper fovea subcircular; lower fovea with both upper and lower margins defined and irregular ( Fig. 60 View FIGURES 51 – 61. 51 – 55 ). Genitalia: paramere wide, about as long as basiparamere, apex truncate ( Fig. 61 View FIGURES 51 – 61. 51 – 55 ); cuspis deeply divided into two arms, dorsal arm shorter and wider than ventral arm, ventral arm apex not reaching paramere apex; aedeagus bottle-shaped, apical half progressively narrowing apicad, ventral surface with conspicuous projection ventrad; base of apodeme very dilated.

FEMALE ( Fig. 62 View FIGURES 62 – 72. 62 – 64 ). Black. Mandible with four apical teeth ( Fig. 63 View FIGURES 62 – 72. 62 – 64 ). Clypeus with broadly rounded median lobe. Antennal scrobe carinate only over torulus. Frons weakly coriaceous. Vertex slightly convex. Pronotal disc with anterior corner subangulate; anterior carina evenly arched forward; lateral margin sharp; median carina incomplete anteriorly, touching posterior series of foveae, followed by depression longitudinally; posterior margin paralleled by series of small foveae. Scutellar pit transverse. Mesopleuron with subtegular groove narrowing posterad; anterior fovea rounded; upper fovea elliptical; lower fovea with upper margin mostly absent ( Fig. 64 View FIGURES 62 – 72. 62 – 64 ).

Variations. Specimens from Colombia large, one with median pronotal carina very wide, texture of lateral face of pronotal disc strong.
