Material examined. Holotype ♂: MEX [ICO], Mor[elos], Huajintlan, 2500', 14.V. [19]59, H. E. Evans col. ( MCZH, #30804).

Diagnosis. MALE ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 1 – 13. 1 – 5 ). Black. Mandible with five apical teeth ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 1 – 13. 1 – 5 ). Clypeus with rounded median lobe. Antennal scrobe wholly carinate, touching inner margin of eye. Frons strongly coriaceous. Vertex convex. Pronotal disc with anterior corner angulate, median carina touching posterior series of foveae, bifurcating anterad and becoming progressively into anterior carina; lateral margin acute, but not carinate; posterior margin paralleled by some punctures. Scutellar pit transverse. Mesopleuron with subtegular groove slightly sinuous; anterior fovea subtriangular; upper fovea rounded; lower fovea with upper margin absent ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 1 – 13. 1 – 5 ). Genitalia ( Figs 12, 13 View FIGURES 1 – 13. 1 – 5 ): paramere wide, about as long as basiparamere, apex rounded, dorsal and ventral margins slightly convex; cuspis deeply divided into two arms, dorsal arm shorter and wider than ventral arm, ventral arm apex not reaching paramere apex; aedeagus bottle-shaped, apical half progressively narrowing apicad, ventral surface with conspicuous projection ventrad; base of apodeme very dilated. FEMALE unknown.

Distribution. Mexico (Morelos).

Remarks. The notauli in the holotype are asymmetrically wide. Holotype with the right foreleg and right wings missing.
