Annoyer (1♀); 10 km East of Bambio 10.XI.2008, J. Halada (1♀) ; Dzanga-Ndoki NP, Lake 1, 22–23.II.2012 (light), P. Annoyer (1♀) ( BMPC & PAPC) .

Remarks. The genus Lanista Bolívar 1890 , as well as the genus Lanistoides Sjöstedt 1913 , need to be revised. For this reason Felix & Massa (2016) identified Ethiopian specimens as Lanista sp. We tentatively identified our specimens as Lanista annulicornis described from South Africa, a probable senior synonym within the genus.
