Annoyer (1♀) ( BMPC); Camp 1, 13–14.X.2008 (light), P. Annoyer (1♀); Camp 2, on a Kungu ( Piptadenastrium africanum , Fabaceae ) (platform 40m), 23–24.X.2008 (light), P. Annoyer (1♀) ( PAPC); Dzanga-Ndoki NP, Lake 1, on an Azobe ( Lophira Alata , Ochnaceae ) (platform 38m), 25–26.XI.2010 (light), P. Annoyer (1♀); Lake 1, 15–16.II.2012 (light), P. An- noyer (1♂) ( BMPC & PAPC).

Description of the female. The female of this species is undescribed ( Massa et al. 2018). Same characters of the males except the following. Head and pronotum yellow-green, antennae yellowish, abdomen yellow-brown, cerci yellow, tegmina with a black line at their base, green with many dark spots. Fore femora armed on inner ventral side with 6 small spines, fore tibiae with 3 spines + 1 spur on inner and on outer ventral sides, mid femora with 3–4 spines on outer ventral side, mid tibiae with 3 spines on outer and on inner ventral sides. Hind femora armed with 1 pre-apical spine on outer and on inner ventral sides, hind tibiae with many spines on ventral and dorsal sides + 3 spurs on each side. The costal area of tegmina have a net of small cells, like in the males. Ovipositor gently up-curved, 6.8–6.9 mm long, tips finely toothed. Cerci long and pointed, subgenital plate triangular, narrow and pointed.

Measurements (mm). Body length: 21.4–22.3; length of pronotum: 3.8–4.3; height of pronotum: 3.9–4.0; length of hind femora: 19.2–19.5; length of tegmina: 32.0–34.6; width of tegmina: 5.1–5.2; tegmina length/width: 6.3–6.6.

Remarks. Characters of the female lie very much within those of the males, in particular the narrow tegmina, after which the name angustipinnata was coined.

Distribution. M. angustipinnata is known only from Dzanga-Sangha SR and Dzanga-Ndoki NP.
