REMARKS: According to Jäch & Delgado (2008) Ochthebius (Ochthebius) viridis sp. 2 (sensu Jäch, 1992b) is a synonym to Ochthebius (Ochthebius) viridescens Ieniştea, 1988 . Ochthebius viridis fallaciosus and Ochthebius viridis viridis are absent from Egypt ( Jäch & Delgado 2008).
