Remarks.

Bang-Haas (1915) proposed this name as an aberration of P. epaphus Oberthür, 1879. Therefore, as stated by article 45.6.2 ( ICZN 1999); it is deemed to be an infrasubspecific name (the author used “aberration”, “ab.”) and is hence unavailable.
