Type species: Mandibularia nigriceps Pic, 1925 , monotypic and original designation.
Description. Medium-sized. Head broad with tumid eyes, front usually broader than long, lower eyelobe never broader than half of front (in frontal view). Antenna slender, longer (male) or slightly shorter (female) than body, basal antennomeres fringed beneath; third antennomere twice as long as scape, third longer than fourth, fourth longer than scape, fifth to tenth successively shorter, but the last becomes longer than tenth. Head slightly broader than prothorax, with coronal suture extending from epistoma to occiput. Prothorax broader than long, constricted near both base and apex, with tubercles on disc. Scutellum linguaform, longer than broad. Elytra gradually narrower apically, with a spine at apex. Legs moderately long, mesotibiae not grooved, metafemur reaching fourth abdominal segment. Anterior coxal cavities closed (male) or narrowly open (female) posteriorly. Claws appendiculate (male) or simple (female). Male genitalia: lateral lobes slen- der, length more than 4 times of width; tegmen longer than the whole median lobe; median struts about half of the whole median lobe; internal sac moderately long, more than twice of median lobe, with 3 rods; rods shorter than tegmen.
Diagnosis. Differs from Mimocagosima and Parastenostola in having a spine at apex of elytra. Distribution. China, Vietnam, India.
