Hymenophyllopsis universitatis Vareschi (1958: 156) View in CoL . Type: VENEZUELA, Bolívar, high plateau of Auyán- Tepui, 2300 m, Vareschi & Foldats 4938 (holotype VEN, isotype US!) .
Distribution: Venezuela (Bolívar), 2100–2350 m.
Characteristics: Like C. ctenitoides , this species has a long, linear rhizome, but has a pinnate-pinnatifid lamina.
