NBP/NIS material examined. 6 ♂, 5 ♀ from the following sites: Nunavut: Kugluktuk; Yukon Territory: North Fork Pass (vii.1949, 1952, 2011) (CNC, LEM).

Comments. Boreopiophila tomentosa is known, but rare, from the northern Nearctic (McAlpine 1977) and in Finland (Frey 1930).
