NBP/NIS material examined. 6 ♂, 23 ♀ from the following sites: Manitoba: Churchill; Newfoundland and Labrador: Goose Bay; Northwest Territories: Norman Wells; Ontario: Moosonee; Yukon Territory: North Fork Pass (vi–viii.1952) (CNC).

Comments. Parapiophila penicillata has a widespread distribution from Alaska to Labrador in North America (Steyskal 1964; McAlpine 1977).
