Canthidium tenebrosum Howden & Young, 1981: 82 View in CoL [here transferred to the subgenus Canthidium View in CoL ]. Type locality: Panama: Chiriquí, 2 km west of Cerro Punta, “Baldwin Forest”. Type material: Holotype male (CMNC—ex Howden collection); see full list of paratypes in Howden & Young (1981: 83). Distribution: Costa Rica and Panama (Solís & Kohlmann 2004).
