Lectotype (Bogner in Leroy, Fl. Madagascar 31: 12. 1975; Suresh & al. in Taxon 32: 127. 1983): Herb. Hermann 4: 39, No. 329 (BM-000628180) .

Generitype of Pothos Linnaeus.

Current name: Pothos scandens L. ( Araceae ).

Note: Bogner indicated Herb. Hermann material (BM) as type. Although there is material in two volumes, it appears to have been part of a single gathering so his is accepted as the first typification (Art. 9.15), with the choice subsequently restricted by Suresh & al.
