"The only difference of your specimens is the comparatively coarser longitudinal striation at the posterior side of the head between occipital and hypostomal carinae presenting in both sexes. In continental populations females usually have no such striation and males have some weaker striae. The feature may be characteristic for the Azores population but it is necessary to compare more materials." (ANTROPOV in lit.)
