Note. – The authors mention further original material collected by Thieme in Honduras, which has been distributed by John Donnell Smith under number 5446 (several specimens in GH, US) and Guatemala by Heyde & Lux (distributed by J.D. Smith under no. 4573).

Taxonomic status: Probably a natural entity (monophylum) as currently defined (A).
