( Figs. 22 View FIGURES 17 – 22 , 38 View FIGURES 35 – 38 , 48 View FIGURES 44 – 48 )

Prays alpha Moriuti, 1977: 119 .

Material examined. CHINA: Heilongjiang Province: 1 ♂, 2 ♀, Maoershan National Forest Park, Shangzhi , 14– 17.VI.2010, coll. Jiayu Liu and Yanpeng Cai, genitalia slide Nos. CPX14081 ♀ , CPX15152♂.

Diagnosis. Adult ( Fig. 22 View FIGURES 17 – 22 ) with wingspan 13.0–15.0 mm. This species is similar to P. fraxinella (Bjerkander, 1784) in appearance, but it can be distinguished in the male genitalia by the valva rounded at apex and its ventral margin without process at apex ( Fig. 38 View FIGURES 35 – 38 ); in the female genitalia by the ductus bursae about half the length of the corpus bursae, and the large oviform signum ( Fig. 48 View FIGURES 44 – 48 ). In P. fraxinella , the valva is forked apically and has a triangular process at apex on the ventral margin in the male genitalia; and the ductus bursae is almost the same length as the corpus bursae, and the signum is small and triangular in the female genitalia.

Host plants. Juglandaceae : Juglans ailanthifolia Carrière ; Oleaceae : Fraxinus mandshurica Ruprecht var. japonica Maximowicz ( Moriuti 1977) .

Distribution. China (Heilongjiang), Japan.
