Material examined. 1 ♂, Yichun , Heilongjiang Province, 10.VII.1963, genitalia slide No. IOZ09038 ( IZCAS).

Description. Adult ( Sohn & Wu 2011: Fig. 2 ) with wingspan 15.5 mm. Prays delta is superficially similar to P. dorsiprotrusa sp. nov., P. inconspicua Yu et Li, 2004 , and P. helanshana sp. nov. It can be separated from P. inconspicua and P. helanshana sp. nov. by the valva without protrusion at dorsal margin and the sacculus narrowly rounded at apex; in the latter two species the valva is more or less protruded at approximately dorsal 4/5 and the sacculus is pointed at apex ( Sohn & Wu 2011: Fig. 5 ). The difference between P. delta and P. dorsiprotrusa sp. nov. is stated under the latter species.

Distribution. China (Heilongjiang), Korea, Japan.

Host plants. Oleaceae : Ligustrum tschonoskii Decaisne , Syringa persica L.

Notes. In our previous study, we examined the specimen of this species deposited in IZCAS.
