Material examined.

Syntype of "var. major Bavay & Dautzenberg, 1909" MNHN-IM-2000-30871 from “Pac-Kha” (1 shell; Fig. 59C).

Distribution.

Laos and possibly in Vietnam ( Schileyko 2011).

Remarks.

No material of this species was found, and only the type specimen was examined. Schileyko (2011) attributed the type locality (Pac-Kha) to Laos. However, this locality is more likeky to be Pa Kha in Long Luong Commune, Van Ho District, Son La Province, Vietnam. Thus, the occurrence of this species in Laos is questionable.
