Parastilobezzia :

- Cervical sclerite slender and L-shaped, a unique condition in the family.

- Female with two well-developed and one so called rudimentary spermatheca. Although not studied for all genera, the duct of the rudimentary spermatheca is unique in the family in being strongly expanded, appearing as an elongate sac.
