Material examined. One individual was collected from Sin­ri, Sinji­myeon , Wando­gun , Jeollanam­do, E: 126° 48′56.72″ N: 34°20′0.09″, 22 Jun 2014 (collector: Lee J). This specimen was mounted on a slide and deposited at NIBR ( KOSPIV0000216805 ) .

Remarks. This species can be easily confused with A. japonicus ( Milbrink, 1973; Hrabě, 1981), because they are similar in habitat preference and the shape of dorsal chaetae. But, A. pluriseta can be discriminated from A. japonicus based on the shape of male gonoduct and the number of chaetae per bundle ( Fig. 1E, F ) ( van den Hoek and Verdonschot, 2005). This is the first record about the species of genus Aulodrilus from Korea.

World distribution. Cosmopolitan.
