Type host: Lophotriccus pileatus (Tschudi) ( Passeriformes : Tyrannidae ). Type locality: Peru.
Host range and distribution. Mesotenoxenous species associated with the tyrant flycatchers ( Passeriformes : Tyrannidae ): Hemitriccus margaritaceiventer (Orbigny and Lafresnaye) from Guyana and Lophotriccus pileatus (Tschudi) from Peru ( Glowska & Milensky 2014).
