72. Notylia tapirapoänensis Hoehne (1910: 52) View in CoL .
Type:— BRAZIL. Mato Grosso: Serra de Tapirapuã [“Tapirapôan”], Sepotuba River, March 1819, F. C. Hoehne sub Commissão Rondon 2256 (holotype: R 3120!).
Notes: —Hoehne (1910) described N. tapirapoänensis without informing in the protologue the holotype or indicating the herbarium where the deposit occurred. However, in 1951, a bibliographic and numerical index of plants collected by the author and collaborators during the Rondon commission project was published, in which the author indicates that only one specimen of N. tapirapoänensis was herborized and also indicates the R herbarium as the deposit site, and is therefore is the holotype ( Hoehne & Kuhlmann 1951).
