Type material of Chrysso hyoshidai (examined). Holotype ♀ (coll. no. Da 2010-4), CHINA: Hainan Island, Danzhou , 9–13.VIII.2010, leg. A. T. Barrion & S.C. Villareal ; Paratypes: 1 ♀ (coll. no. Da5), same data as holotype except 4.IV.2011, leg. A. T. Barrion et al .; 1 ♀ (coll. no.a2011-9), Haikou, 9.IV.2011, leg. A. T. Barrion et al .

Description and diagnosis. See Zhu (1998) for a redescription and diagnosis of the species.

Distribution. China (Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan and Hainan).

Comments. The female type material of C. hyoshidai was examined and no differences between C. lingchuanensis and C. hyoshidai could be determined, so we consider C. hyoshidai syn. nov. to be a junior synonym of C. lingchuanensis .
