Type Locality: Cameroon, SW Province, Korup N. P., Ikenge Research Station, 160 m [05°16'N, 09°08'E]. GoogleMaps
Vernacular Names: Rain Forest Shrew.
Distribution: Known only from the type locality and from Kongana, Central African Republic.
Discussion: Ray and Hutterer (1996) identified this species in carnivore scats collected in forest around Kongana ( Central African Republic), the type locality of S. konganensis .
