COMMON NAME (S): Smokey Temnora Hawkmoth or Smokey Temnora . SYNONYM(S): None.

IUCN STATUS: Not Evaluated (NE).

DISTRIBUTION: Angola, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Comoros, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Sahara, S„o Tomé and Príncipe, Republic of Congo, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Lusaka and Kafue, in Lusaka Province. LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval host-plants include: two Rubiaceae species ( Morinda morindoides (Baker) Milne-Redh. and M. lucida Benth. ) and one Icacinaceae species ( Rhaphiostylis beninensis (Hook.f. ex Planch.) Planch. ex

Benth.) in Côte d’Ivoire ( Vuattoux et al. 1989) and one Brassicaceae species ( Camelina sp. ) and one

Commelinaceae species ( Commelina sp. ) in an unnamed African country or countries ( MacNulty 1970;

Pinhey 1975).

Without associating them with specific countries named above, the African Moths (2019) webpages lists the following as larval foodplants of this taxon; One Brassicaceae species ( Camelina sp. ), one

Commelinaceae species ( Commelina Africana L. ), two Rubiaceae species Morinda morindoides (Baker)

Milne-Redh. and M. lucida Benth. ) and one Metteniusaceae species ( Rhaphiostylis beninensis (Hook.f.

ex Planch.) Planch. ex Benth.).
