SYNONYM(S): Gynanisa daula Tams, 1930 .

DISTRIBUTION: Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Malawi, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Nchelenge ** in Luapula Province ; Mbala in Northern Province.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants one Caesalpiniaceae species ( Brachystegia venosa Hutch. & Burtt Davy ), one Fabaceae species ( Acacia sp. ) and one Fabaceae species ( Julbernardia sp. ) ( Pinhey 1972b).
