Neotype (Hertel, Khumbu Himal, Ergebn. Forsch. Nepal Himal. 6: 244. 1977): Sweden. Uppland, Uppsala, Vårdsätra, NE-SE of the mouth of the river Hågaåa, 17 May 1964, R. Santesson 16299 (UPS).

Current name: Lecidea fuscoatra (L.) Ach. (Lecidiaceae).

Note: Specific epithet spelled “fusco-ater” in the protologue. See review by Jørgensen & al. (in Bot. J. Linn. Soc. 115: 317, 376. 1994).
