Typus generis: Ancistrogera particularis Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1898

Discussion. Species of the genus resemble those of Anancistrogera or Aphanogryllacris . They are characterized by the possession of only few but distinctly long spines on one or both dorsal margins of the hind tibiae.
