Comments. The first record of the species was by Valenzuela-González et al. (2013) and the second by García-Martínez et al. (2015) for one minor worker. In both cases, the repositorium was IEXA, but in our visit to this collection, it was impossible to locate these specimens. This is the third record of the species in Mexico. Voucher specimens are deposited in BSIE, but we do not have the number of specimens and castes.
