Stem 20-45 cm. Lower leaves lanceo late, widest below the middle, without spots or with small dark spots near the apex. Flowers bright or deep reddish-purple. La bellum 5-9 mm, subentire or shallowly and equally 3-lobed, with irregular dark lines or spots. 2n = 80.
