Geographic distribution.
Cosmopolitan species. In the Russian tundra: Murmansk Region ( Veselov 1977, Finogenova 1975, Timm and Popchenko 1978), the upper reaches of the Adzva River, ( Finogenova 1966), Lake Ambarty and some other lakes in the Korotaikha River basin ( Popchenko 1978).
Location.
Lake Bolshoy Kharbey (67°31'38"N, 62°53'2.8"E; 67°32'22.1"N, 62°52'10.7"E).
Ecology.
The species was found mainly on sand between stones at a depth of 1.0 m or less.
