This genus comprises 76 species ( NEWTON 2020), many of them described from the temperate part of the Euro -Asian continent. The group was redefined by NOMURA (1998) and its east Asian members were keyed in NOMURA (2003). Two species have been collected in Nepal, one is described below, the second represented by two females, is probably also new. We decline to describe it in absence of at least one available male.
