Lectotype M: Kabelstation , Republic of Suriname ( ITH).

Distribution in South America: French Guiana, Republic of Suriname.

Bibliographic sources: Known life stages and taxonomic contributions registered in Pecor et al. (1992). Belkin (1968; pag. 12) corrected the name to alcocki and designated the Lectotype.
