Description. Male: length 22.5 mm, width 11.0 mm; female: length 25.1 mm, width 12.3 mm. Dorsal surface uniformally dark reddish brown. Clypeus anterior margin without median cleft in both sexes, weakly convex anteriorly, nearly as long as labrum in both sexes ( Fig.14 ), inclined backward at approximately 60 0, weakly indented laterally. Head with dorsal surface rugosely punctate and covered with recumbent circular to ovoid scales. Antennal club length 2 mm, longer than antenomeres II–VII. Pronotum anterior margin thickly margined mesally and thinly margined laterally. Anterior pronotal angle obtuse and rounded. Posterior pronotal angle square, with apical lobe; surface covered with recumbent, circular to ovoid, apically pointed, basally rounded or truncate scales; surface also with sparse apically and basally blunt spindle to lanceolate scales adjacent to posterior margin. Protibial spur extending in front of anterior angle of protibia in both sexes ( Fig. 15 ). Metaventral process length 1.4 mm. Metaventrite densely setose, scales ovoid to lanceolate. Posterior metatibia with 15–15 spicules. Anterior margin of elytra with distinct groove at anterior angle and terminating at the middle, covered with scales identical to those on pronotum. Abdominal sternites covered with basally round or truncate ovoid scales. Abdominal sternite V laterally on the same plane with the other segments. Pygidium covered with spindle-shaped scales.

Male. Genitalia length 8 mm. Phallobase dorsal anterior margin with narrow V-shaped margin mesally ( Fig. 16 ). Paramere ventral inner posterior margin elongate, spindle-shaped, and bordered by membranous integument ( Fig. 17). Mid-posterior margin of parameres triangulate and apically round. Dorsal mid-posterior margin of parameres bell shaped. Inner anterior margin of parameres spindle shaped. Parameres laterally with longitudinal groove on mesal half to the dorsum and bounded by carinae on both sides. Lateral groove wider sub-apically and mesally narrow, posterior margin subcircle ( Fig. 18). Apical processes wider and lobe-like apically.

Female. Clypeus strongly convex apically, strongly recurved at approximately 45 0 and strongly indented laterally ( Fig. 19). Antennal club length 1.1 mm, shorter than antenomeres II–VII. Metaventral process length 1.4 mm. Metaventrite sparsely setose and mostly covered with elongate, lanceolate scales. Posterior metatibial with 21–22 spicules. Scutellum twice as wide as long. Abdominal sternite V mesally and posteriorly elevated and not on the same plane with the other segments.

Distribution. Philippines (Mindanao).

Remarks. Externally similar to L. guevarai , differing in the uniform size of the scales on the elytra and in the phallobase of male genitalia being distinctly longer than parameres, which is the opposite of L. guevarai ( Fig. 20). The specimens examined from the UNSM and NMM were match the digital photographs of Moser’s syntype from the ZMHB (provided by Dr. Joachim Willers) ( Fig. 21).
