Distribution. Russian Federation: Ulyanovsk Province ( Stackelberg 1970), Tatarstan Republic ( Volkova 1957). Europe ( Szentiványi et al. 2016; Szentiványi et al. 2018a; Haelewaters et al. 2017; Sándor et al. 2018; Jensen et al. 2018). Caucasus ( Farafonova & Yavruyan 1989; Szentiványi et al. 2018b). North Africa ( Hůrka 1984). Central Asia ( Polkanov & Medvedev 1997). Near East ( Malek-Hosseini et al. 2016).

Remarks. The record from Chitinskaya Province ( Russia) by Jovty et al. (1962) is doubtful, since it was collected outside the range of the principal host.
