Examined material. VALLE DEL CAUCA. Buenaventura, Bajo Calima, Centro Flores U.T., 70m, apr 1995 / MPUJ _ ENT 0 0 10737 (1f, MPUJ _ ENT).

Comments. First record of this genus for Colombia. This genus has four described species recorded for Brazil and Costa Rica ( Kirkaldy, 1909). The specimen studied herein is similar to Boea costaricensis Distant, 1890 . A revision of the genus is needed to determine if the studied specimen is an undescribed species or not.
