Holotype male in QCAZ. Type locality: [Bosque Protetor] Cashca Totoras [as “Cashcatotoras” in original description], 00º05’52.2” S 77º36’38.9” W, 2800 m, Bolívar Province, Ecuador.

Distribution: Ecuador: Bolívar, Cotopaxi, Napo, and Pichincha Provinces.
