Holotype male [a single specimen in original description, assumed as holotype] in MNHN [depository given as Grouvelle collection in original description; Pic collection, in Jeannel, 1936].

Type locality: Cochabamba [Department], Bolivia.

Distribution: Bolivia: Tarija and Cochabamba Departments; Peru: Huánuco Department.

Note: As “from Chile ”, in error, in Portevin, 1914a: 193, and Hatch, 1928: 208 (probably reproducing Portevin’s error).
