Type locality: Cerro Hornito, 1200 m, Chiriquí Province, Panama.

Distribution: Costa Rica: Alajuela, Guanacaste, and Heredia Provinces; Honduras: Cortés and Olancho Departments; Nicaragua: Matagalpa Department; Panama: Chiriquí, Darién, and Panamá Provinces.
