Type locality: Gran Piedra National Park, behind Isabelica Plantation House, 1100 m, Santiago de Cuba Province, Cuba.

Distribution: Cuba: Santiago de Cuba Province: known only from type locality. Biology: In upper elevation forests, probably also in Sierra Maestra and other Provinces in eastern Cuba.
