Type locality: Marcapata, [Cuzco Department], Peru.

Distribution: Peru: Cuzco and Huánuco Departments.

Note: In the original description heading, the genus was spelled Eocatops (Eocatops) , clearly a typographical error ( Gnaspini, 1994: 38).
