Adelopsis dehiscentis
status

A. dehiscentis Salgado, 2003a: 120

(apparent assignment to group capitanea) [but see Note], 2008b: 219, 2010c: 215 (assignment to group sinuosa), 2013b: 67, 2016b: 58; Gnaspini & Peck, 2019: 19 (assignment to group and subgroup). Holotype male in QCAZ.

Type locality: Centro Cientifico Rio Palenque [see Peck & Kukalová- Peck, 1980], Los Ríos Province, Ecuador.

Distribution: Ecuador: Cotopaxi, Los Ríos [one record for Centro Cientifico Rio Palenque as Pichincha Province, in error], and Pichincha Provinces.

Note: The female illustrated in Salgado (2003a: 121, Fig. 25) is a misidentification of A. coronaria Gnaspini & Peck [1996] ( Salgado, 2013b: 68)   . Actually, we understand this record as doubtful, because it is based on females.
