Type locality: Bosque Integral Otonga, Las Pampas, Canton Sigchos, Cotopaxi Province, Ecuador.

Distribution: Ecuador: Cotopaxi Province: known only from vicinity of type locality.

Note: This species was overlooked in Salgado’s (2010c: 212 – 216) list of species groups, although it was assigned to this group in the original description.
