Hlisnikovský, 1964a: 232; Miller & Wheeler, 2005b: 163 (lectotype designation). No information about types given in original description;
Lectotype female (designated in Miller & Wheeler, 2005b; who mentioned number of specimens not given in original description, one single specimen available for study) in BMNH.
Type locality: Cerro de Plumas [= Cerro de Palmas, in Veracruz State, according to Selander & Vaurie (1962), but as Mexico State in Miller & Wheeler (2005b), without explanation], Mexico.
Distribution: Mexico: Veracruz State: known only from type locality.
Note: The species is of uncertain status because the lectotype is a female.
