Type locality: Volcán de Chiriquí, 3000 ft., [Chiriquí Province], Panama.
Distribution: Costa Rica: Alajuela, Guanacaste, Heredia, Limón, Puntarenas, and San José Provinces; Nicaragua: Matagalpa and Río San Juan Departments; Panama: Chiriquí Province.
