Holotype male in MCZC (n° 32004).

Type locality: Cerro Dona Juana, Toro Negro Forest, 1000 m, Puerto Rico.

Distribution: Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands.

Biology: widespread in moist forests and on bat guano in caves.
