H. brunneus Jeannel, 1962: 496 View in CoL ;

Newton, 1998: 168 (“ holotype ” in MNHN seen); Newton et al., 2017: 136 (habitus photos, aedeagus).

Holotype female in MNNC [in original description, which lists a single female; but Newton, 1998 states holotype in MNHN].

Type locality: Chepu, 42º03’ S, Isla de Chiloé, Chiloé Province, Chile.

Distribution: Argentina: Río Negro ( striata ) Province; Chile (all AFN, personal data, except Chiloé): Cautín, Chiloé, Llanquihue, Malleco, Ñuble, Osorno, and Valdivia Provinces.

= Kaszabella striata Hlisnikovský, 1964c: 321 View in CoL ; Newton, 1998: 84, 168 syn. (holotype seen). Holotype male in HNHM. Type locality: Mt. Piltriquitron, 1100 m, El Bolsón, Río Negro Province, Argentina.

Note: Szymczakowski (1976: 125) recorded “ Kaszabella View in CoL sp.”, stating “species near Kaszabella striata View in CoL ”, also from Río Negro.
