REMARKS. This is a castaneous species marked with black and tawny. It is very similar in general appearance to A. bilaqueata ( Uhler, 1903) but differs significantly in the structure of the genitalia in both males and females ( Sanborn 2016c).

DISTRIBUTION. The species is known only from Peru ( Sanborn 2016c).
