REMARKS. The history of the taxon and the validity of C. brasilianorum have been reviewed recently ( Sanborn 2016c). The generic characters can be used to distinguish the only species of the genus found in Peru. The species is 24.5–34.0 mm body length, green (often fading to tawny) heavily marked with piceous and testaceous, the abdomen is tawny and ferruginous with transverse piceous fasciae on the tergites.

DISTRIBUTION. Specimens have been reported from Bolivia, Brazil, French Guiana, Peru, South America, and Suriname ( Metcalf 1963a; Sanborn 2011a; 2013; 2016c; 2019b).
