REMARKS. Previous reference to S. stigmatica in Peru was shown to be a new species S. madredediosensis ( Sanborn 2019a) and the species is removed from the Peruvian fauna.

DISTRIBUTION. The species is currently known only from Brazil ( Metcalf 1963; Sanborn 2013). Previous references to Panama ( Sanborn 2018b) and Peru ( Sanborn 2019a) were shown to be erroneous.
