Descriptive notes. Tail 46-52 mm, ear 34-38- 5 mm, hindfoot 7- 5-9 mm, forearm 43-46 mm. Largest Plecotus , with forearm even longer than that of the similar-sized Turkmen Long-eared Bat ( P. turkmenicus ). Fur is dense, brownish to yellowish on dorsum (c. 10 mm long) and pale or whitish in ventral part (c. 6 mm long). As in many congeners, face is mostly naked, with forehead and cheeks covered with whitish fur. Wings almost transparent or weakly pigmented; uropatagium naked. Thumbs and claws long; toes long, slender and white. Scrotum huge and whitish, with long hair that has dark basal parts and white tips. Skull quite large, with remarkably big bullae; size similar to the Turkmen Long-eared Bat, but braincase is higher; zygomatic bone broad and strong. Dentition as in the Turkmen Long-eared Bat, with canines slender and almost as large; I* and P? aretiny.
